What a great weekend this past one was in the middle of July! One of our favorite bands Mandolin Orange played two shows Saturday. The last time they played the tasting room they were fabulous but they are even better! Life on the road seems to agree with Andrew and Emily! They were accompanied by tour manager Josh Oliver for part of the show. Look for great things from him, #realtalent! Now fair week is upon us. The animals are loading in to the fairgrounds, we are polishing our gold #bestofclass medal for the 2014 Viognier and we will see many of you at the Fair tasting Friday!
Already getting towards the end of June! We poured at the Barbera Festival last weekend which is always fun. Ran into a great bunch of wine folks that are becoming old friends. The Saturday evening Amador City farmers market has begun and we are looking forward to the first of the Amador City Street dances tomorrow night! See you all soon.
We seem to have turned from a tasting room with music some of the time to a winery with music all the time. Right now fresh out of a weekend gig at the Drytown Club we have an amazing band on our stage... Our new wines are in the bottle, (yay, have you ever bottled wine? talk about fun!)
We are getting ready to bottle the 2013 Barbera and the 2013 Primitivo! Super excited for these new wines on the table! And this weekend Rita Hosking Trio and next Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys! Then Tony and Allen play two weeks in a row. Not to mention the Jooks. It is going to be fun!
